In the warm lemon honey tea.
Influenza, or the flu, must be one of the most common illnesses. People in India use turmeric in coconut milk 2 cinnimon and ginger or warm lemon honey teas as effective remedy for the flu and coughs.

Hi Sister Rosa, my 3 year old son has a cough that’s been lingering around for over a month now. We have taken him to his Dr and to the ER where they have taken a chest XRay and they said his lungs were fine and it was just viral. We gave him children’s cough medicine and that didn’t help his cough. It wasn’t until my Mother suggested we give him warm water, lemon and honey to drink and we did and that’s when we noticed that his cough started easing up we also got a Vick’s humidifier as well. My question to you is can I add the grapefruit seed extract in his water as well to help with the lingering cough he still has or is that not good for his age? Thank You so much for sharing! GOD BLESS.

Can I used Grapefruit essential oil from Young Living? Is the therapeutic oil the same as grapefruit seed extract?

Are we not just coughing up the mucus that the honey creates? It’s acidic, it’s literally bee vomit. Idk about others but when I used to eat honey I’d feel a phlegm in my throat that I rarely experience now that I don’t eat honey. Needless to say I’m very skeptical of any healing properties of honey.
