What's even better is organic produce from your own garden! Today I made some potatoes with freshly picked kale and tomatoes from our garden 🙂 I didn't have to go anywhere. I just had to walk out to the back yard. If you aren't already, you should grow some food. It's hard to beat freshly picked organic produce.

I'm so jealous of you in CA getting local fruit in your box!! I'm in Ontario and we only get a tiny bit of local fruit in our co-op box (Grand River Organics) at certain times in the summer. I became a pickup location for my co-op when I moved and there wasn't a local pickup location nearby so I get a discount and my produce is delivered to my door. I normally can't bring myself to pay for organic produce at the grocery store but I have no problem paying $27 or so for my box. I guess it's weird but I'm happy to support local organic farms…organic at the grocery store is not usually local.

This is so much fun! I get an organic delivery box as well but it's not as nice. Produce just has to travel farther in my neck of the woods. Just the same, it's great to have it delivered.

Wow! I'm surprised by how much that all is! I know for me it would be less where I live. Where does she live?

I used get a box here in UK which contained recipe suggestions as one of the problems I had was wondering what to do with some of the produce !

That's so much cheaper than it would cost where I live, in Sweden.

I just started liking cabbage! My grandmother cooks it which I though was weird but it actually tastes great! Your going to have some great meals with all that food!

That looks awesome! The local co-op I work at partners with 6 farms from around my city to put out a csa box for 17 weeks every year, and this will be my first year getting it! Unfortunately we have a very short growing season in northern Ontario so 17 weeks is the limit on getting fresh produce.
